I eat fresh vegetables every day

A vegetable is a plant or part of a plant that is eaten as food.

Potatoes, beans and onions are all vegetables.

A Greengrocer's is a shop that sells fruit and vegetables

A greengrocer is a person who owns or works in a shop selling fruit and vegetables.

I like the vegetable soup.

We eat fresh vegetables every day.

My grandfather has a vegetable garden.

They went to the greengrocer's to buy a cauliflower.

A food drop game

In the food drop game, kids learn about which foods belong to each food group - grains, vegetables, fruits, protein, dairy and oils. Learn how to categorize foods: apple, chicken, broccoli, brown rice, corn, watermelon, yogurt, beans, cheese, nuts, banana, squash, orange, green beans, eggs, olive oil, fries, oatmeal, lettuce, whole grain bread, peppers, pasta, carrot, grapes, cereal, blueberries, raisins and more, while enjoying a fun puzzle type game!
