The Friday before is often a day of celebration in schools with a traditional Andalusian breakfast, consisting of a slice of toast with a thin layer of olive oil; students color pictures that refer to the symbols and insignia of Andalusia, its history and customs, put on plays and sing the regional anthem.

Thanksgiving Day 2016
Thanksgiving Day is an annual national holiday in the United States and Canada celebrating the harvest and other blessings of the past year. In the US Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November while in Canada nearly one month and a half earlier (second Monday of October). Thanksgiving has deep roots in religious tradition, but nowadays it is primarily celebrated as a secular holiday.

Thanksgiving is a great time to be thankful and appreciate who you have and what you have. It is a time for families to meet, socialize and enjoy each other's company, sometimes the only opportunity in a year.

Autumn (Fall) Song for Children
This autumn (fall) song was written by me to be used as teaching material for kids in kindergartens where I give English classes for little children. The song is very simple and good for children of very young age who start learning English as their second language. You can use this song to teach about colors and the autumn season.
